Yes | Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
The Affordable Care Act creates a governmental health insurance monopoly forcing patients into a limited number of standardized government-approved plans. Because of the monopoly there is lack of competition between insurance companies so premiums go up, deductibles go up and freedom to choose your own doctor goes down. When ?health care plans? dictate what care is given and which doctors you can go to, the quality of care becomes compromised. Only keep the regulation that you can not be denied heath care insurance because of a pre-existing condition. |
No | Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
|
|||
Immigrants from many faiths and cultures have merged to make America great. However, illegal immigration is now out of control and needs to be addressed. Our priority should be to secure the border and control the visa program. Once the border is secured, then we need to deal with those illegal immigrants in the United States. Those that have been in the United States long term should after paying a fine, be able to get in line and wait their turn with other immigrants and earn a path to citizenship. |

I am running for Congress to work for an America of equal opportunity, freedom, and mutual respect. We should have the freedom to keep the fruits of our labor while also ensuring we care for the less fortunate. We can do both by reducing wasteful spending, bringing manufacturing back, and adopting a fair tax code. I am determined to unite Americans so we can work together to find real solutions to our challenges such as, creating jobs, revitalizing our inner-cities, improving veterans? care, and keeping America safe. We must stop decision making based on special interest and party lines. |
